Tuotekehitysrahoituksen tavoitteena on innostaa Jyväskylän korkeakoulujen opiskelijoita ja henkilökuntaa keksimään uusia tuotteita ja palveluja ja tuomaan niitä rohkeasti kokeiluun. Jos sinulla on idea, ja tarvitset rahaa alkuvaiheen kokeiluiden toteuttamiseen tai selvityksiin, kuten
- prototyypin testaamiseen, tarvikehankintoihin
- IPR:n selvittämiseen
- demojen tekemiseen
on sinulla mahdollisuus hakea tuotekehitysrahaa. Haettavan rahoitus on suuruudeltaan 500-1000€ (alv 0%). Budjetti laaditaan alv 0% hinnoin. Huom! Hakijana ei voi olla yritys, eikä rahaa voi käyttää palkkojen maksamiseen.
Kuka rahoitusta voi hakea:
Tuotekehitysrahoitus on tarkoitettu JAMKin ja Jyväskylän Yliopiston opiskelijoille, tutkijoille ja henkilökunnalle. Tutustu Tuotekehitysrahaa saaneisiin projekteihin: käytettyjen hevostarvikkeiden myyntialusta Hoofiniin ja Antti Löppösen melonta-aiheiseen prototyyppiprojektiin.
Ohjeet hakemiseen:
Tuotekehitysrahoitusta voi hakea neljä kertaa lukuvuodessa. Rahoituksen hakeminen tapahtuu alla olevalla lomakkeella ja valmistelemalla ennakkoon projektista 10 min esitys, joka esitetään arviointiraadille (noin 5-7 hlöä). Ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä saat sähköpostiin tarkemmat ohjeet, kuinka esitys kannattaa valmistella.
Tuotekehitysrahoituksen haku päättyy 15.9.2024. Raatiin valituille ilmoitetaan valinnasta erikseen noin viikkoa ennen tilaisuutta ja he saavat kutsun ja ohjeet sähköpostitse.
Arviointiperusteet:
Tuotekehitysrahoitusraati arvioi keksintöjä/liikeideoita muun muassa uutuuden, keksinnöllisyyden ja liiketoimintamahdollisuuksien näkökulmista. Hakeminen ei edellytä omarahoitusta.

Product Development Funding - Purpose of the funding:
Product Development Funding of Startup Factory is meant for students, researchers and education organizations personnel to invent new products and services and to start developing or further developing them.
When: the Product Development Funding event will be on September 30th, 2024
(Apply no later than September 15th, 2024)
The funding can be used, for example:
- for testing
- purchasing supplies
- tools
- expertise.
- The funding is only for new ideas – companies cannot apply for the funding.
- Please note that the funding cannot be granted to cover the salary costs or the purchases of such items that would be recorded in the balance sheet of a future company (trademark, equipment, or tools, for example)
To get the funding, the Product Funding board evaluates the business potential, the project plan, and the plan of using the fund as well as the presenter’s own commitment to the project. The amount of funding is from 500 to 1000 euros. The budget is prepared with VAT 0% prices.
Recipients:
The product development funding is intended for the students and personnel (including grant researchers) of University of Jyväskylä and JAMK University of Applied Sciences.
Apply:
Fill form (bellow) to apply to the Product Development Funding event on September 30th, 2024. Fill in your information and write a short description of your project! To apply for the funding, you must prepare, in advance, a 10-minute presentation of your project that is presented to an evaluation panel (approx. 5–7 people). Application period ends on September 15th, 2024. Those selected will be informed about the selection separately and they get an invitation and instructions.
Selection criteria:
The application criteria for the funding include business potential, a concrete project plan and funding targets, and the commitment of the owner of the idea to keep promoting the business operation after the funding period.
